The Influence of Employees' Personal Characteristics on Their Intentions to Share Tacit Knowledge
This paper discusses the relationship between individual factors and knowledge sharing behaviour. it explains the mechanism behind individuals behaviour of not to share or like to share using self concept, self worth, self efficacy, and self motivation as the constructs. Questionnaire is proposed to collect data and multiple regressions as the statistical technique to analyze the data. The paper suggest that, successful sharing of knowledge requires a reward system that encourages knowledge sharing activities and a positive social interaction that build trust among employees.
