Types of Submissions
Papers (for 6 Themed Tracks)
We invite papers that report new results substantiated by experimentation, simulation, analysis, or application. Submissions must present original work that has not previously been published.
Paper submission categories include:
a) regular research papers (max 10 pages) discussing mature work, and
b) short papers (max 4 pages) describing preliminary results, pilot studies, new thought-provoking ideas, or novel applications/implementations.
The topical content of the paper must fall within the broad range of information science. Authors may choose their preferred track at submission time; the chairs reserve the right to re-track submissions as necessary.
Format of submission
Papers must be formatted according to the instructions provided in the sample template
(asist2010pubsformat.doc) and meet the page limitations identified above. Download the template and follow its instructions. Submit only a PDF version.
Submission
Submit your PDF version to the conference submission site by midnight,
May 31, 2010 (Hawaii Standard Time).
Accepted Papers
Accepted papers will be notified by June 28, 2010. Authors will have an opportunity to modify papers according to the reviewers’ comments and resubmit by
August 2, 2010.
Note: Accepted papers must have one of its co-authors registered for the conference by the early registration date, or the paper will be removed from the program.
