You are invited to participate in a Twitter chat hosted by the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) Special Interest Group for Digital Libraries (SIG DL)!
The Digital Liaisons Twitter Chat will be thematically structured around what Digital Librarianship looks like in practice and how Digital Libraries contribute to the communities they serve.
Participants will be invited to ask questions and join in the discussion via Twitter.
This chat is designed as a mentoring opportunity for students and early-career information professionals to connect with mentors in the Digital Library community. You are invited to be a mentor or mentee and join in the conversation! No prior commitment is necessary- just tune in during the time frame listed below.
You don’t have to do anything to sign up beforehand!
You DO need to have a Twitter handle! (Only if you want to read participate, you can read other people’s conversations without one)
You don’t have to be a member of ASIS&T or SIG-DL to participate in the Twitter chat! (You do need to be a member to participate in our follow-up panel (Digital Liaisons Virtual Uncommons: Creating Knowledge, Enhancing Lives via Digital Libraries) at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting.)
Participants will be invited to ask questions and join in discussion via Twitter as well as connect with mentors individually afterwards. In order to connect with a mentor please sign up next to their name in this spreadsheet.
Each mentor will have a maximum of three mentees.
