The focus of this virtual SIG is the application and study of emergent "social software" technologies in a variety of information environments. Its purpose is to provide a forum for members to develop relationships and to facilitate the cross-fertilization of ideas and issues across technologies, industries, and participant groups(developers, professional users and researchers).
