SIG/STI focuses
on the applications of information science to the production, organization,
and dissemination of scientific and technical information.
Membership in SIG/STI
is open to any ASIST member with an interest in science and technology
information systems.

SIG/STI is offering a $1,000 Student Travel Award to defray the cost of attending the 2008
ASIS&T Annual
Meeting. The student must be a library and information science student with an interest or background in chemistry or chemical
engineering. This money has been made available through a grant from Chemical
Abstracts Service, a division of the American Chemical Society.
