Notes from the 2003 SIG-LT Meeting

Mark Needleman called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

Need to find a chair-elect. Colleen suggested Cindy Campbell. Mark will ask her. Please think about it and get back to Mark.

Mark noted that the program committee would like to see fewer, more focused program proposals.

Program Ideas:

Standards for metasearching - co-sponsor with Standards Committee
    Which standards are dead? Evolution of standards. What will we be using in 5 years? Life cycle of standards
   Proposed Speaker: Michael Leach; Mark Needleman will coordinate program
