Authors must include a signed copy of the following publications agreement or their paper will not be included in the Proceedings. (the "Work") for publication, in print and/or electronic media, by the American Society for Information Science or its designee (the "Publisher"). A. Copyright Transfer. The Author transfers to the Publisher of this collective work the exclusive rights comprised in the copyright of the Work, if the Work is accepted for publication, except that the Author retains the following: (1) All proprietary rights, other than copyright, such as patent rights. (2) The right to make copies of all or part of the Work for the Author's use in classroom teaching. (3) The right to make copies of all or part of the Work for internal distribution within the institution which employs the Author. (4) The right to use figures and tables from the Work, and up to 250 words of text for any purpose. (5) The right to make oral presentation of the material contained in the Work in any forum. In the case of Work prepared under U.S. Government contract (as indicated below), the U.S. Government may reproduce, royalty-free, all or portions of the Work and may authorize others to do so for official U.S. Government purposes only, if the contract so requires. B. Warranties. The author warrants that (1) the manuscript is the Author's original Work, (2) it is submitted only to this Publisher, and (3) has not been published before. If the Work was prepared jointly, the Author agrees to inform co-authors of the terms of this agreement. If excerpts from copyrighted works are included, the Author will obtain written permission from the copyright owners and show credit to the sources in the manuscript.
