 Contributed Papers: Proposal Guide

[ Information Form | Publications Agreement ]

Guidelines for Submitting Contributed Papers

The information form, the publications agreement, and an abstract (usually 500 words) of the paper proposed for presentation will constitute a complete proposal.  (See the Call for Participation of each meeting for acceptable abstract length and any other expectations.)  The information form and the publications agreement available below should be copied, re-created or printed out and submitted with the abstract in paper or electronic form as indicated in the call for presentations.

Formal papers may be compiled into sessions devoted to related contributed papers or integrated into less formal panel sessions.  Proposals must be original, unpublished work so that copyright can be assigned to ASIS for print and electronic publication.  (Questions regarding prior web publication should be addressed to asis@asis.org.)  Session chairs will encourage interaction, debate and questioning of the presenters.  All proposals will be refereed.
