Senior Director, Information Architecture, Razorfish, North America Karen McGrane is Senior Director of Information Architecture for the North American offices of Razorfish, Inc. Razorfish is a strategic
digital communications company with eleven offices throughout North America and Europe. Karen evangelizes the user-centered design process by providing information architecture consulting services to clients,
conducting user research and usability tests, and mentoring a talented and diverse staff of information architects. Karen is pursuing a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and
also holds B.A. degrees in American Studies and Philosophy from the University of Minnesota.
