The purpose of the study is to contributes to the limited research base on the use of digital library systems in the Middle East and investigate factors affecting digital library systems adoption in the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) in Kuwait. The study was conducted by surveying the academic faculty of School of Basic Education (SBE), by using a structured questionnaire. Using data of 160 respondents found to be usable, regression analysis revealed that perceived relative advantage, perceived result demonstrability, perceived visibility, perceived trialability, and awareness of the digital library system have positive significant effects of the rate of the digital library system adoption, and perceived ease of use has a negative significant effect on the library system adoption. However, the results showed that perceived compatibility and perceived image have insignificant impact on the rate of library system adoption. The implications of the findings and future research directions are discussed.
