The location of the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower puts guests within three blocks (Portland is known for its short blocks of 200 feet long) of the Portland Center for the Performing Arts, The Portland Art Museum, the Oregon History Center, movie theaters, dozen of ground level, upscale shopping establishments and great dining. Guests have access to 320 blocks of downtown Portland with free public transportation, which includes the Max Light Rail System. The new ExecutiveTower is unique with 327 boutique-style guestrooms that cater to the association executive and business traveler. Hilton worked hard to develop a comfortable, technically savvy room. With that in mind, all guest rooms feature high speed internet access, Suite Dreams by Hilton luxury beds, internet access via a 27" televisions, dual-line direct line phones with voice mail and dataports. Thirty-one Business King concept rooms are equipped with printer/copier/scanner/fax unit located on the top floor of the hotel. The Hilton Portland completed a 25 million-dollar renovation in 1995 that completely updated its exterior, lobby, restaurants, guest rooms and function space. Business guests will appreciate (in the main building) the fully equipped business center that serves as an *office on the road* with faxing, photocopying, laser printing and other services. Both business and leisure guests can enjoy three restaurants and three lounges as well as the full service athletic club featuring indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms. For a vigorous work out, there is cardio and weight training equipment. In the center of Portland's vibrant downtown area - It happens at the Hilton.
