DC-2010

DC-2010 is a 3 day international conference on Dublin Core and Metadata Applications.  It is being held at the Grand Pittsburgh Downtown (formerly the Pittsburgh Hilton), in Pittsburgh, PA on October 20-22, 2010 (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).

How to Register


There are 3 ways to register!  Registrations are valid once payment is received and processed.
 
Online:  Online Registration Form
You will receive an automatic confirmation email after you register online.
Once your payment has been processed, you will receive a 2nd email with an attached receipt.

Cancellations and Refund Policy

Cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing (e-mail or fax) until 24 September, 2010 (90% of the paid fee will be returned, 10% is retained as cancellation fee).  No cancellations will be accepted after this date.


Students

To qualify for the student rate, you must be a full-time student.  You will be asked to provide the name of your educational institution and a student ID when you check in for the conference.


Conference Materials 

Please check in at the Dublin Core registration table to pick up your conference materials during the On-Site Registration Hours posted below.  Everyone will receive a name badge which must be worn to every session and event.   


On-Site Registration

On-site registration will be available at the Grand Pittsburgh Downtown (formerly the Pittsburgh Hilton, located at 600 Commonwealth Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, Tel: 1-412-560-1751), during the on-site registration hours below.  All speakers and registrants must check-in at the DC-2010 registration area to pick up your name badge and conference materials.

Tuesday, Oct. 19 4-6pm
Wednesday, Oct. 20 7-10am, 1-3pm
Thursday, Oct. 21 7-10am, 1-3pm
Friday, Oct. 22 7-10am, 1-3pm

 


Dinner DC-2010

1 Dinner ticket (Thursday evening, 21 October) is included with all DC-2010 full 3 day conference registrations .  If you are registering for a single day or would like to bring a guest, tickets can be purchased separately for $60 each. 


Hotel Registration

Attendees must make their own hotel and travel arrangements.  Both DC-2010 and ASIST 2010 will be held at the Grand Pittsburgh Downtown (formerly the Pittsburgh Hilton).  Click here for hotel information.  


ASIS&T 2010

The American Society for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) annual meeting is being held immediately following DC-2010, at the Pittsburgh Hilton in Pittsburgh on October 22-27, 2010.
