Abstract

The panel will consist of three speakers, Marcia Bates, UCLA, Prudence Dalrymple, Drexel University and Cassidy Sugimoto, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. It will be moderated by Jose Marie Griffiths, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill . The speakers will address various aspects of the information professions: the structure(s)   of the discipline and the profession(s), their evolving relationships to  one another and their intellectual heritage and future.
