Summary

Understanding and encouraging the sharing of rival information becomes an important topic in the Web 2.0 trends. This study proposed an information sharing model and simulated information sharing dynamics in systems that confront the social dilemma. The results suggest that sharing behavior might be easier to foster in synchronous systems than in asynchronous systems.
