Summary

This study utilizes bibliometric tools in order to analyze the relationship between two separate, but related fields--Library and Information Science (LIS) and Management Information Systems (MIS). Using field co-citation analysis, the study evaluates the knowledge imported/exported between the fields and also the body of knowledge that is influenced by both fields.
