Abstract
The purpose of this short paper is to propose a study on work practices and information behavior of competitive intelligence (CI) analysts, attempting to understand the process of how information is transformed into intelligence product step-wisely in that context. Also, an original integrated conceptual framework built upon Cognitive Work Analysis and Activity Theory is also proposed.
