Full conference registration includes:
- Access
to all 71 sessions, beginning with the Plenary speaker on Sunday at 1pm and ending with the President’s Reception, Wednesday evening;
- All social events
listed in the program including the Welcome Reception, Annual Awards Luncheon, International Reception and the President’s Reception;
- 1 copy of the Proceedings on CD-Rom (papers presented at the conference).
Daily Rates If you cannot join us for the entire conference, take advantage of our special daily rates! Early bird and member rates are also available on single-day registrations.
Other Rates Retiree rates are for ASIS&T retired members only. Student rates are available for both members and non-members
Seminars Friday, Oct. 28, Saturday, Oct. 29
In addition to the conference, ASIS&T will be offering full and half-day seminar courses at additional fees. These highly attended professional education courses will be held on Friday and Saturday before the actual ASIS&T conference begins. If you are registering for a seminar only, you do not have to pay the daily rate registration.
Seminar Discount If you have never taken a full-day ASIS&T seminar, you may qualify to save an extra $75 off your total registration fees. You can qualify for this discount only by registering for the full conference and any full-day seminar (excluding SIG Workshops). This offer is not available at student or retiree rates.
ICKM Conference on Knowledge Management The second International Conference on Knowledge Management (ICKM2005) will be held at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting in the Westin Charlotte, North Carolina on October 27-28, 2005. The conference will bring together academics, researchers, developers, practitioners, and users in the areas of knowledge management and information processing. It will serve as a platform for networking, exchange of research ideas, practical applications and best practices. Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished work on all aspects of information and knowledge management.
Sister Societies Members in good standing of ASIS&T and sister societies qualify to register at member rates. Sister Societies are: Special Libraries Association (SLA), the Medical Libraries Association (MLA), or the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL). Please include the name of your sister organization and membership number on the registration form to receive the discount.

Annual Awards Luncheon and Proceedings The Annual Awards Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, November 1 at 12:00noon. Anyone registering for the full conference, including students, will receive one admission ticket to the Awards Luncheon and a copy of the Proceedings on CD-Rom. Additional luncheon tickets or copies of the Proceedings may be purchased on-site. Luncheon tickets are non-refundable.
Cancellations and Refunds We will honor all cancellation and refund requests received in writing by Friday, September 23, 2005. Unfortunately, we can not issue refunds after this date. All refunds will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Refund checks will be issued six to eight weeks after the conference.
Attire Business attire is the appropriate dress code for this conference. You may wish to wear something
dressier to the Awards Luncheon and President’s Reception.
