Abstract

This panel will discuss research on the creation and use of metadata and ontologies in different contexts and applications: User-submitted metadata and their reactions to the metadata capture process Analysis of query logs focusing on object metadata, semantic & linguistic patterns, and its implication on learning object content and metadata design and development.
