TOUR of UCLA and the Getty Art Museum Complex
Thursday, 8:30 a.m.
Heres a great way to end your 2003 ASIST Annual Meeting experience. Drive with us through the beautiful UCLA campus. We'll stop for a few minutes to tour the Department of Information Studies building. Then well proceed to the nearby Getty Art Museum Complex. The museum sits atop a promontory with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and much of downtown Los Angeles. The $1 billion complex includes several buildings, as well as fountains and a beautiful and unusual garden. The museums collection is particularly strong in European art, decorative arts and Medieval manuscripts. Lunch in the Getty cafeteria is included. The tour will depart from the Westin Hotel at 8:30 a.m.; well leave the Getty for the return trip at 2:00 p.m.
You must register for the tour. A separate fee is required; see the Registration Form for details.
