Gender & Diversities Institute, at Education Development Center, Inc., is a global forum for leveraging the power of diversity to improve education and work. The Institute's research and programs use the lens of gender and its intersections with race, ethnicity, economic status, disability, and sexual orientation to deepen our understanding of critical social problems and to create effective and empowering technology-based solutions. We seek to humanize technology in its conceptualization, design, process, use, and impact. We address the power and potential of technology within several contexts: education systems; gender violence; economic self-sufficiency; and gender-affirmative human development. Come join us for an interactive panel where GDI staff and fellows discuss ways this mission is being implemented.
