Welcome Reception and SIG Rush, Sunday 6:00 pm
ASIST welcomes you to its 64th Annual Meeting.

Alumni Reception, Monday 7:00 pm
Academic institutions share the sponsorship for this informal opportunity to renew relationships with faculty, colleagues, classmates, staff and others.

International Reception, Monday 8:00 pm

SIG Dutch-Treat Networking Dinners, Tuesday 7:00 pm (times may vary)
One of the most popular activities at ASIST meetings!!  Every
SIG will have a sign-up sheet for a networking dinner to be hosted by a local "expert" who will direct the night's discussion.  DTN Dinners are a terrific way to combine sampling D.C.'s cuisine with sharing time with friends and colleagues, making new contacts, and discussing some of the hot topics in information science that most directly affect you.  When you arrive at the conference, you'll be able to sign up for the dinner (SIG) of your choice.  You don't have to be a member of that SIG to attend.  Every one who has participated in the networking Dinners has raved about them. (remember to sign up early - places are on a first-come, first-served basis).

Pre-Awards Banquet Reception, Wednesday 6:30 pm

Annual Awards Banquet, Wednesday 7:30 pm
Visit with friends - old and new at this Gala reception.  Then celebrate the major accomplishments in the field of information science as ASIST bestows its prestigious Annual Awards at the Annual Banquet. (Note: One ticket to the banquet is included with the non-student full conference registration fee; additional tickets may be purchased at the ASIST registration desk).
