With the recent name change of ASIS to ASIST, our chapter needs to consider whether or not to follow suit with a name change also. The ASIST Bylaws (7.1) state, "a Chapter shall be named for the city, county, district, or region where it is located." Our chapter encompasses southern Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.

We are asking SOASIS members for their opinions on a name change for the chapter. If you think we should change our name, please submit your suggestions by COB 02/16/01. Suggestions will be put to a majority vote of SOASIS members via e-mail by 02/28/01. The person with the winning submission will receive $50.00, plus free admission to any one SOASIST program/workshop held in 2001.
