The 1999 ASIS mid-year meeting will be held May 24-26 in Pasadena, California. Often called the "City of Roses," (in honor of the annual Tournament of Roses), Pasadena lies in the foothills of the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains (in the Angeles National Forest). Pasadena is also a center of world-class museums, cultural and performing arts, historic turn-of-the-century architecture, dining, and shopping, and is only 10 miles from downtown Los Angeles.
