You’ll enjoy demos and hands-on experience with eReaders and electronic tablets at the “sequel” to our Spring Program “Kindles and Kobos and Nooks&#8230;Oh My!”  Take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about the features and benefits of various eReaders, electronic tablets, and how you can access digital resources from your library’s website.  Our format for the program will include break-out groups, so you will be free to visit with the experts who are highlighting the devices and technologies that are most interesting to you.  This Free program is open to all.</p>

Jessica Curtis of the Westerville Public Library will be there to help you navigate “Overdrive” software and access the digital offerings that are available from your public library’s website.  Elise Bodnyk from Barnes and Noble will be our guide for all things related to the Nook, and other eReaders will be represented as well.  We will also have representatives from Best Buy to demonstrate the newest electronic tablets.<br />

<p>PRESENTERS<br />
Robin Nesbitt, MLS<br />
Robin Nesbitt is the Technical Services Director of the Columbus Metropolitan Library.  Robin launched central selection and floating collections at CML.  She has presented at PLA about workplace efficiencies and at BEA as a member of the Librarian Shout &#8216;N Share panel of good books.  Robin has been involved with digital content and following the publishing industry on this topic for the last decade and she is &#8220;still amazed at how thorny the whole topic continues to be!&#8221;</p>
<p>Jennifer Hrusch, MLIS<br />
is Team Leader II at Columbus Metropolitan&#8217;s Rovers &amp; Information Line Division and CML&#8217;s social media &#8220;guru&#8221;.  A resident expert on Twitter, Facebook and the intricacies of these increasingly powerful tools, Jennifer&#8217;s been involved with numerous technology initiatives at CML.  She also implemented and oversees the KnowItNow and CHAT services for Columbus Metropolitan Library.</p>
<p>George Morrison, MLIS<br />
With foundations as a Small Business IT Consultant from the age of 12, George Morrison has always had an interest in computing technologies.  George has held various positions in the Library over the last five years, and is currently Youth Services Library Assistant at the Dublin Branch.  His passions for youth services are rivaled by excitement for progressive library technology integration.  As a current Subject Matter Expert (or SME) on OverDrive services, George is actively developing and executing training to Columbus Metropolitan Library staff throughout the system.</p>
