SUMMARY: The Common Core Standards mesh with 21st century skills to promote college and career readiness. With these standards and skills, Ohio teachers and librarians face state and national changes calling for an increased emphasis on research, literacy, text complexity and rigorous learning. Join this session to learn the paths to understanding the Common Core Standards and how to utilize a variety of INFOhio resources that align with the standards. This session will be of interest to public librarians, school librarians, college librarians, and anyone who wants to learn more about the impact and the implications of the Common Core on the curriculum in schools.
