Geo Tagging involves placing location information on photos. The ability to geotag photos has become increasingly easier, using free or inexpensive tools. This session will introduce geo tagging photographs for teaching, learning, research, and fun. Demonstration of devices that can be carried in your pocket, GiSTEQ Phototrackr and Trails, and their integration with Google Maps, Google Earth and Flickr will be provided. Examples of using the technology in a research application and for display of walking routes and points of interest will be included.
