Not only is this an outstanding program, talking with Liane Hansen, the on-air host of NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday, but this is an opportunity to renew your ASIST acquaintanances over an incredible dinner--all focused around an extremely relevent topic in today's information age.

A popular voice with NPR audiences, Liane Hansen hosts National Public Radio's Weekend Edition Sunday.  She brings to her position an extensive background in broadcast journalism, including more than 25 years of work as a radio producer, reporter, and on-air host.

She will be sharing with us her views on information dissemination in today's environment, including the impact 9/11 has had on information accessibility and availablity.  The dinner and discussion will coincide with PVC's annual business meeting, where we will briefly review the business of the chapter and introduce the new Executive Board members.  This will be a absolutely great event.
