This course will provide a broad-based overview of the major elements and requirements for operating a successful client-oriented "information business" and will provide a forum for sharing ideas and practices among participants. Individuals operating small information centers, programs, or services in corporate, governmental, research, or academic environments will find this course particularly helpful. Emphasis will be placed on critical aspects of management, including planning, organizing, and budgeting and how  technology affects the long and short term operation and
